General Education Division
The mission of the Division of General Education is to provide a quality general education curriculum which:
- supports the general education component of career-oriented post-secondary programs of study below the baccalaureate level that prepare graduates for immediate employment
- encourages students to develop personally, morally, culturally, socially, and intellectually
- provides remedial education for current or prospective students who need to improve basic skills
- ensures access to educational opportunities for all present and potential students regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, or disabling condition.
