Videos and DVDs do not circulate except to faculty, who may check them out for three days. Other patrons may view them in the library. Non-faculty employees and students may borrow books or audiocassettes for a period of three weeks, and community patrons may borrow books or audiocassettes for two weeks. Items may be renewed twice, if no holds have been placed on them. Books or audiocassettes borrowed by faculty are due at the end of the quarter, and may be renewed twice if no holds or recalls have been placed on them. Failure to return the item by the new due date will result in a fine of $1.00 per day per item. If an overdue book is recalled, the $1.00 charge begins the date the book was recalled. There is also a fine of $.50 per day for failure to return items on Reserve. There is an overdue fine of $.25 per day for overdue library materials which are not on reserve. Faculty are exempt from regular overdue fines, but, If any patron loses an item, they must pay a non-refundable processing fee of $35.00 in addition to the cost of replacing the item.
