Located in the center of Northeast Georgia, Athens Technical College is a "drive-in" college offering the latest in technical education with an exciting campus atmosphere for every student. The Elbert County Campus is committed to the comfort and well-being of our students while on campus by maintaining a Student Center for all student activities and functions. The center is complete with a gathering area for students to enjoy the available food & beverage vending machines, campus bookstore, comfortable couches, foosball table, outside patio, and the pavilion by the lake.

Career Development
|
The Career Planning and Placement Office, located in the Yeargin Building, provide students and alumni with a centralized service to assist in locating employment opportunities and developing job search skills. ATC also provides assistance in resume preparation and interviewing skills development. Students and Alumni can stop in during business hours and have access to a variety of resources that can assist them in charting a career path, obtaining a job, and developing skills for successful employment. Workshops on topics such as resume writing, cover letter development, job search skills, interview techniques, and more are offered on a regular basis. Academic Support Center

The Academic Support Center, located in the General Classroom Building, offers free tutoring to assist students in achieving maximum academic performance. This assistance is available to all currently enrolled students. The tutors can provide assistance in accounting, math, English, science, and speech. Computerized tutorials are also available.
The Academic Support Center is located in Room 314 in the General Classroom Building (Building #300). The hours of operation are:

Student Activities
|
After class, there are many opportunities for students to gain vital leadership skills with other students. Student organizations and activities are an integral part of student life at Athens Technical College. Students attending the Elbert County Campus are encouraged to participate in ATSAC (Athens Tech Student Advisory Council), IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals), NTHS (National Tech. Honor Society), Phi Theta Kappa, Alpha Beta Gamma, Delta Epsilon Chi, PNA (Practical Nurses Association), FCA (Future Cosmetologists of America), and SPA (Student Paralegal Association).

The Athens Tech Student Advisory Council (ATSAC) is made up of student representatives from each academic program. ATSAC members sponsor various student activities and participate in community service and institutional improvement projects.
