All students must apply for graduation regardless if they wish to walk in the ceremony.

Yes, tickets are required. The number of tickets each student gets will be determined at a later date.
Associate of Applied Science Degree, and Diploma students who completed their programs during Fall Semester 2015, Spring Semester 2016 or Summer Semester 2016 are eligible to participate. Technical Certificate of Credit students are not eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony.
An Application for Graduation must be completed by each potential graduate. Students should apply for Graduation when they register for their anticipated last semester. For timing purposes, all graduation applications are due to the Office of Registration and Records by March 1st. This allows the Registrar's office time to process the request and notify the students of the results via e-mail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 Graduation Ceremony, your Application for Graduation must be received by the Registrar's Office no later than March 1, 2016.
The Graduation Fee helps cover the cost the rental fee for the facility, tassels, and the diploma paper and cover. The actual cost incurred exceeds $35. Additional funding for the graduation ceremony is provided by ATSAC and the Student Activity Fees paid each semester.
The Graduation Fee is due at the time you complete your last semester. Students who have not paid their graduation fee will not receive their Diploma or an official transcript.
Caps, gowns, graduation announcements, and class rings can be purchased on the Athens campus in the bookstore.Cap and gown orders must be placed in the bookstore no later than March 19,2016. Personalized graduation announcements can be ordered at http://www.herffjones.com/college/athenstech through your graduation date.
Graduates will receive notifications regarding graduation to their Athens Technical College student e-mail accounts. Notifications include classes needed to graduate, graduation instructions, ticket information.
