Alpha Beta Gamma Business Honor Society Recognized at National Conference

Members of the Alpha Beta Gamma Business Honor Society attended the Alpha Beta Gamma National Leadership Conference in Little Rock, Ark. held April 16 to 19. Chapter members were recognized for their leadership and service achievements.
• Teresa Crandall, chapter vice president-elect, and Jennifer Palmer, chapter president, were awarded The Ginny Fastje Best Student Presentation Award for their presentation on promoting Alpha Beta Gamma through service projects.
• The chapter also won the Best Chapter Website Award.
The Athens Technical College Alpha Beta Gamma chapter has also been selected to represent the Technical College System of Georgia at the 2015 World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. The Summit will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in November. Palmer and Crandall will share their presentation titled “Promoting Alpha Beta Gamma through Service Projects.”
The Chi Zeta chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma was founded at Athens Technical College in August 1991. As a service-based student organization, Alpha Beta Gamma exists to recognize and reward academic excellence among business honor students and to recognize the contribution by professors, administrators, and business professionals.
