Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Courses to Start at Washington-Wilkes Career Center

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training is planned for the Washington-Wilkes Career Center through the Office of Economic Development’s Continuing Education Department. CNA training provides students with the necessary information and skills needed to work as a Nurse Aide in a variety of healthcare settings. Upon successful completion of the program, students can take the Georgia Certified Nurse Aid Exam. The CNA program at Athens Technical College is approved by the Georgia Medical Care Foundation.
• Short-term training completed in less than one semester
• Financial aid available for qualified applicants
• Graduates are qualified to become Certified Nursing Assistants
Applications for the CNA program at the Washington-Wilkes Career Center are now being accepted. Classes will start this summer (date to be announced). For additional information, contact the Washington-Wilkes Career Center or Amy Ravotti, R.N., CNA program coordinator and lead instructor.
