Culinary Arts Courses Now Available in Athens and Monroe

Date: July 8, 2015

Students interested in taking Culinary Arts courses now have the option of enrolling in classes at the Walton County Campus of Athens Technical College or at the Athens Community Career Academy (ACCA). Starting August 24, Athens Technical College will offer Culinary Arts classes during the day at the ACCA.

Culinary Arts students have the opportunity to earn several specialized credentials. These areas include:
Culinary Arts (associate of applied science degree)
Culinary Arts (diploma)
Baking and Pastry Specialist (certificate)
Catering Specialist (certificate)
Culinary Nutrition Assistant (certificate)
Food Production Worker I (certificate)
Prep Cook (certificate)

Financial aid is available for qualified students.

Prospective students interested in enrolling in Culinary Arts at either the Walton County Campus or the ACCA should contact Culinary Arts Program Chair Chef Scott Howard.
