IAAP student members demonstrate professional skills
Several Athens Technical College students won competitive categories of the third Annual Certification and Development Workshop/Student Conference sponsored by the Board of Directors for the Georgia Division of the International Association of Administrative Professionals and the Athens Chapter of IAAP.
Seven Athens Technical College IAAP members and one advisor attended the conference held February 10 -11 at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education. The theme for the conference was “Celebrate and Educate.” The Athens chapter of IAAP was also celebrating its 50th anniversary.
The weekend was filled with educational training and networking, and Friday, students had the opportunity to show off their skills in four areas of competition: Microsoft 2010, Business Writing/Grammar Rules, CPS Mock Exam, and Public Speaking.
