Athens Tech Foundation Scholarships, Awards, and Access Funds
The Athens Technical College Foundation, Inc. offers a number of scholarships annually. The purpose of these scholarships is to recognize and reward outstanding students. Application eligibility criteria and deadlines can be found on the individual scholarship links.
First American Veteran's ScholarshipThe First American Veteran’s scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded annually to an Athens Technical College student who has served a minimum of 18 months active duty in any branch of the US Armed Forces including the National Guard.
Health Science Merit-Based Scholarship
The Health Science Merit-Based Scholarship is offered each year to a student enrolled in a Health and Life Science Division eligible program.
High School Merit-Based Scholarship
The High School Merit-Based Scholarship is offered each year to a High School student graduating from one of the public high schools within Athens Technical College's service area. Eligible counties include Athens-Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Hart, Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Taliaferro, Walton, and Washington-Wilkes.
Robert G Shelnutt Memorial Scholarship
Robert G. Shelnutt Memorial Citizenship Scholarship is offered each year to a student who demonstrates the highest level of good citizenship, work ethic and leadership at Athens Technical College.
David C White Memorial Scholarship
The David C. White Memorial Scholarship is offered each year to a student in a Technical & Industrial Division program.
Kenneth and Jessie Doyle Nursing Scholarship
The Kenneth and Jessie Doyle Nursing Scholarship is offered each year to a student who is accepted and currently enrolled in the Associates Degree Nursing program, is currently a single mother (as defined by the Financial Aid Office), and currently in good academic standing with the college.
Dr. Carol L White Award
The Dr. Carol L. White Award is offered each year to a Phi Theta Kappa member at ATC who is in good standing with the campus-based PTK chapter.
Dr. Sherrie Ford Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Sherrie Ford Memorial Scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded each semester to eligible Power Partners, Inc. employees and/or their children.
Dr. Mark A. Ellis Medical Assisting Scholarship
The Dr. Mark A. Ellis Scholarship in Medical Assisting is offered each year to a student who is accepted and currently enrolled in the Medical Assisting program, has a minimum of two terms remaining to complete the MA program, currently in good academic standing, and shows a financial need.
Award for Excellence Scholarship
The Award for Excellence Scholarship is awarded each year to the applicant with the highest cumulative GPA.
ATC Alumni Scholarship
The ATC Alumni Association Scholarship is offered annually to an ATC graduate returning to further their education at Athens Technical College.
MollerTech South Industrial Systems Technology Merit Scholarship
The MollerTech South Industrial Systems Technology Merit Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to annually to a student enrolled in the Industrial Systems Technology program.
GVMAA Scholarship Application
The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded annually to a rising second year student in the Veterinary Technology Associate Degree program.
WCHCF Educational Access Fund
The WCHCF Access Fund is available each semester to ATC students enrolled in a Life Sciences program (excluding Veterinary Technology) and residing in Walton County.
Rotary Club of Athens Fellowship
The Rotary Club of Athens Fellowship is a merit and need-based scholarship awarded to student(s) currently enrolled in the Athens Community Career Academy.
Early Childhood Care & Education Parkview Scholarship
Established by the board of the former Parkview Playschool, the Early Childhood Care & Education Parkview Scholarship is awarded each semester to qualified students taking MATH0098 or MATH0099. Students must be enrolled in the ECCE Associate Degree program and meet additional criteria to be considered for the scholarship. This scholarship is available for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
Learning Support Scholarship
The Learning Support Scholarship is awarded annually to students who are required to take learning support classes in two subject areas and who show academic promise.
