Dual Enrollment is Georgia's new educational opportunity that provides high school students an opportunity to earn college credit while working to complete their high school diploma. Students in 9th,10th,11th, and 12th grades, attending a participating Georgia high school or an approved home study program are eligible to participate. In order to qualify for Dual Enrollment, all private and public high schools and home study programs within Georgia operating pursuant to O.C.G.A. �20-2-690(c) must submit a Dual Enrollment High School/Home Study Program Participation Agreement.Students may take occupational and career courses or academic core courses that can transfer to University System of Georgia colleges and universities. Courses in which choose to enroll must be listed on their Dual Enrollment Student Participation Agreement form submitted to the college each semester to be approved by their high school and the postsecondary institution.
Tracie McGhee, High School Coordinator
Tracie McGhee earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Georgia and since 2008 serves as the college's High School Coordinator. She has been a part of post-secondary technical education for 17+ years working with the Dual Enrollment program, admissions, student services, and economic development.

Michele Petee, High School Counselor
Michele Petee earned a Bachelor of Science from California State University, at Sacramento. She has been employed at Athens Technical College since July of 2007 working in the WIOA and financial aid departments. She joined the Dual Enrollment staff in December of 2017 and looks forward to working with you to make your dreams a reality.
