The Backpack Bridge Club Application
The Backpack Bridge program allows participants to provide service to Athens Technical College as official hosts. The purpose of the Backpack Bridge program is to enhance events and communicate college goals. This is done while serving as a liaison between students, faculty, alumni, and the community on behalf of the Office of the President and the Office of the Vice President for Adult Education and Institutional Effectiveness, and other offices as deemed appropriate.
There will be a panel that will conduct interviews for this selection process. To be considered for selection, you must be a GED graduate who has transitioned to Athens Technical College and in good academic and disciplinary standing with your program of study and with Athens Technical College. If selected for membership, your attendance is required at the regularly scheduled meetings and events for which your services are needed. Class schedule conflicts will be excused.
Members of the Backpack Bridge program are required to wear the official name tag and appropriate attire for all functions, except regular meetings.
