Program Overview

Practical Nursing is in high demand and Athens Technical College has one of the best programs in Georgia. We have experienced, competent, and caring faculty. We also have excellent nursing board pass rates and 100% job placement rates. We have also accepted transfer students on a case-by-case basis. We offer one of only five part-time practical nursing programs in Georgia.

A variety of clinical experiences is planned so that theory and practice are integrated under the guidance of the clinical instructor. Program graduates receive a practical nursing diploma and have the qualifications of an entry-level practical nurse.
